NEW YEAR'S EVE PACKAGE 2025/2026 – TERMS & CONDITIONS
Assembly Leicester Square Hotel operated by Criterion Hospitality Limited

 

1. PACKAGE INCLUSIONS

Subject to availability and these terms:

  • Overnight accommodation for two (2) guests at Assembly Leicester Square Hotel

  • Full English breakfast for two (2) guests on each morning of stay

  • Access to New Year's Eve Dinner Party at Miradora Rooftop Restaurant (10th floor of the hotel)

  • Panoramic views of London including New Year's Eve fireworks (subject to external display taking place)

  • Unlimited house beverages served until 23:59 on 31 December 2025 (alcoholic and non-alcoholic selections as determined by the hotel)

  • Entry to New Year's Eve party at Miradora Rooftop

 

Food & Beverage Specifications: "Unlimited drinks" comprises house wines, house spirits, draught beer, soft drinks and non-alcoholic beverages from the pre-determined NYE menu. Premium spirits, champagne, and speciality cocktails are excluded unless otherwise specified. The hotel reserves the right to substitute items of equivalent value due to supply chain issues.

 

2. BOOKING & STAY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Stay: Two (2) consecutive nights required

  • Mandatory Night: Booking must include 31 December 2025 (New Year's Eve)

  • Check-in: 15:00 on first day of stay (or as otherwise notified)

  • Check-out: 11:00 on final day of stay (late check-out subject to availability and additional charge)

  • Occupancy: Maximum two (2) adults per room. Children's rates and occupancy available upon request.

 

3. PRICING, PAYMENT & CONFIRMATION

3.1 Package Rate Calculation

The package rate comprises:

  • The hotel's prevailing room rate at time of booking for the relevant room category and dates

  • Plus the fixed NYE event supplement of £349 per person

 

3.2 Price Variation Rights (Pre-Confirmation)

Prior to your booking confirmation, the hotel reserves the right to adjust pricing due to:

  • Changes in VAT or other applicable taxes

  • Significant increases in supplier costs (food, beverage, staffing)

  • Changes to the event format or inclusions

  • Force majeure circumstances (see Clause 9)

Where prices increase by more than 10% before confirmation, you will be notified and given the opportunity to cancel without penalty.

 

3.3 Post-Confirmation Price Guarantee

Once your booking is confirmed and paid, the total package price is guaranteed and will not be increased, except for:

  • Changes to VAT or government-imposed taxes (you will pay/receive only the difference)

  • Modifications requested by you which incur additional costs

 

3.4 Payment Terms

  • Non-refundable pre-payment: Full payment required at time of booking

  • Payment methods: Debit/credit card as specified on booking platform

  • Currency: GBP (Pounds Sterling)

  • Receipt: Confirmation email constitutes receipt and booking contract

 

4. CANCELLATION, AMENDMENTS & NO-SHOWS

4.1 Your Cancellation Rights

This is a non-refundable, non-transferable package. Once confirmed:

  • No cancellations permitted

  • No refunds will be provided for any reason (including personal circumstances, travel disruption, illness)

  • We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance

 

4.2 Your Amendment Rights

No amendments to dates, room type, or number of guests permitted after confirmation, except:

  • Name changes (administrative fee of £50 per change applies)

  • Upgrades (subject to availability and payment of difference)

 

4.3 Hotel's Rights

We reserve the right to cancel or materially alter this package due to:

  • Circumstances outlined in Clause 9 (Force Majeure)

  • Licensing or regulatory issues preventing delivery

  • Safety or security concerns

 

In such cases, we will provide a full refund or offer a comparable alternative package. Our liability is limited to the package price paid; no compensation for consequential losses.

 

5. EVENT DETAILS & MODIFICATIONS

5.1 Event Schedule

  • Dinner Service: From 19:00 on 31 December 2025

  • Unlimited Beverages: Until 23:59 on 31 December 2025

  • Party Continues: Until approximately 02:00 on 1 January 2026

Times are approximate and subject to operational requirements.

 

5.2 Hotel's Right to Modify Inclusions

We will make every reasonable effort to deliver the package as described. However, we reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions or modifications where necessary, including but not limited to:

  • Menu items (due to supply issues, dietary requirements, quality concerns)

  • Beverage brands (substituting comparable alternatives)

  • Event timing (within reasonable parameters)

  • Room category allocation (equal or higher standard)

 

Material Changes: If modifications substantially diminish the package value, you may request a partial refund (determined by the hotel acting reasonably) or cancel for full refund.

Non-Material Changes: Minor variations to menu items, brands, or décor do not constitute material changes and do not entitle you to compensation.

 

6. FIREWORKS DISPLAY DISCLAIMER

6.1 Third-Party Event

London's New Year's Eve fireworks display is organised by external authorities (Greater London Authority/Mayor of London). It is entirely beyond the hotel's control.

 

6.2 No Guarantee

  • We do not guarantee that fireworks will take place

  • We do not guarantee visibility (weather, obstructions, positioning)

  • Cancellation, postponement, or modification of fireworks does not entitle you to refund or compensation

  • Alternative entertainment may be provided at our discretion

 

6.3 Your Acknowledgement

By booking, you acknowledge that views and fireworks visibility are not guaranteed elements of the package.

 

7. GUEST CONDUCT & VENUE RULES

7.1 Age Restrictions

  • All guests must be 18+ to consume alcohol (proof of age required)

  • Under-18s permitted in restaurant areas only when accompanied by responsible adult

  • Management reserves right to refuse service to intoxicated persons

 

7.2 Conduct Requirements

You and your guests must:

  • Comply with all reasonable instructions from hotel staff

  • Behave in a manner that does not disturb other guests or compromise safety

  • Comply with dress code: Smart casual (management reserves right to refuse entry for inappropriate attire)

  • Not bring external food or beverages

 

7.3 Right of Refusal & Removal

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse admission or service

  • Remove guests for misconduct, intoxication, or policy violations

  • No refunds will be provided for removal due to guest conduct

 

7.4 Your Liability

You are liable for any damage, loss, or injury caused by you or your guests to hotel property, other guests, or staff. We reserve the right to charge your payment method for damages.

 

8. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

 

8.1 Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from this package (except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence) is limited to the total package price paid.

 

8.2 Excluded Losses

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses (loss of earnings, travel costs, accommodation costs, disappointment, distress)

  • Losses arising from third-party failures (fireworks, transport disruption, supplier failures)

  • Losses arising from your failure to obtain adequate insurance

  • Property loss or theft (use in-room safe; we are not liable for unsecured items)

 

8.3 Injuries & Medical Issues

Whilst we maintain public liability insurance, we are not liable for injuries arising from:

  • Your intoxication or reckless behaviour

  • Pre-existing medical conditions

  • Failure to disclose allergies or dietary requirements

 

8.4 Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Any other liability that cannot be excluded by law

 

9. FORCE MAJEURE

9.1 Qualifying Events

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Acts of God (extreme weather, natural disasters)

  • Government action (public health restrictions, emergency orders, licensing suspension)

  • War, terrorism, civil unrest, riot

  • Fire, flood, explosion at the venue

  • Failure of utilities or telecommunications

  • Strikes or labour disputes

  • Supplier failures rendering service impossible

 

9.2 Our Response

If force majeure prevents delivery of the package:

  • We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable

  • We will offer: (a) full refund; or (b) rescheduling to alternative dates; or (c) credit note

  • We have no liability beyond the refund of amounts paid

 

10. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY

 

10.1 Data Controller

Criterion Hospitality Limited processes your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

 

10.2 Data Uses

We collect and use your data to:

  • Process your booking and payment

  • Provide the services described

  • Comply with legal obligations

  • Send marketing communications (where consented)

 

10.3 Your Rights

10.4 Photography & Filming

The event may be photographed/filmed for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to appearing in such materials. Inform staff if you wish to opt out.

 

11. GENERAL TERMS

 

11.1 Entire Agreement

These terms, together with your booking confirmation, constitute the entire agreement and supersede all prior representations.

 

11.2 No Combination

This offer cannot be combined with any other promotions, discounts, vouchers, or loyalty programme benefits.

 

11.3 Availability

Subject to availability at time of booking. We reserve the right to withdraw the offer or limit allocation at any time prior to confirmation.

 

11.4 Assignment

You may not transfer or assign your booking. We may assign our rights and obligations to any group company or successor entity.

 

11.5 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, it shall be severed and the remaining provisions remain in effect.

 

11.6 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of that term.

 

11.7 Third Parties

No third party has rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

 

11.8 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.

 

11.9 Complaints

Complaints should be raised immediately with hotel management and subsequently in writing to:  reception@assemblyhotels.com
